Photogrammetry: from photographs to a digital model

Photogrammetry uses a large number of photographs taken from different positions to digitally reconstruct the geometry of the object or area being surveyed.

The drone captures overlapping imagery which is then processed with dedicated software.

Depending on the project, this makes it possible to obtain:

  • high-resolution georeferenced orthophotos
  • point clouds
  • three-dimensional models
  • digital terrain models and contour lines
  • distance and surface measurements
  • volume calculations
